Frequently asked.
- Is Wildy free to play?
- Yes. Wildy is free in your browser and on the desktop client. The optional store sells cosmetics, convenience and caskets; it never sells PvP power.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. Wildy runs in any modern browser with WebGL2, including phones and tablets. A desktop client for Windows, macOS and Linux is optional.
- How fast can I get into a fight?
- Log in, pick a combat build and a gear preset at Edgeville, and cross the ditch north of the bank. The Wilderness starts right there.
- What is Blood Money?
- Blood Money is the PvP currency. Eligible kills, bosses, votes and daily rewards pay it, and the shops and auction house take it. Each kill message tells you what you were paid and why.
- Why did a kill pay nothing?
- Kill rewards skip repeat kills of the same player, players on the same network, very new accounts and fights where you did too little damage. The kill message names the reason.
- What do I lose when I die?
- Unprotected items can drop for your killer, following OSRS Wilderness rules. Check what you would keep before crossing the ditch.
- Are there bots?
- Yes, labelled practice bots fight in the shallow Wilderness. They never count toward hiscores or the player counts on this site.
- Is the store pay-to-win?
- No store item is PvP best-in-slot that cannot be earned in game. Casket odds are published on the odds page, and every casket item also drops in game.
- How do votes work?
- Type ::vote in game or visit the vote page. Each verified vote pays Blood Money and vote points, once per site every 12 hours; daily streaks raise the points.
- Is Wildy affiliated with Jagex?
- No. Wildy is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jagex.
